Arrr! For all you price savvy salty sea dogs out there, these are the trips for you. Plan and bring your own food, save BIG, and we can do the rest on your self catered kayak trips .

With a long history of flying the Jolly Roger at WildHeart Adventures, we recognize that not everyone wants to pay the premium for a fully catered tour. Some of you want to get amongst it and feel like you are fully living the “pirates life”, along with keeping more precious coins in ya’ treasure chest.

Come aboard one of our self catered kayak trips with our Bare Bones option and enjoy the same high standard tour as our fully catered trips, with world class guides, locations and equipment, you’re just in charge of your own food “Yah scally wag!”. If you need to rent camping gear (tents, sleeping bags and mats) we have that option availible, but bring your own and you are saving further!

What our client say about our Self Catered Kayak Trips!

“Five friends and I did (one of WildHeart’s four day ‘Bare Bones – self catered kayak trips’) with Jaime around Telegraph Cove. Jaime was brilliant as a guide and we also had great fun, he matched our enthusiasm. I couldn’t fault the trip whatsoever. Within the first 24 hours we had seen and done everything we hoped to see/achieve over the whole trip. This was honestly one of, if not the best trip I have taken in Canada.” – F’ Quinn- Ireland

“…who is going to believe me…a mug of strong coffee in hand, I’m enjoying a delicious cheese & mushroom omelette and a pod of orca whales play and spyhop for an eternity a mere 40 feet from our kitchen area…I still can’t believe it was real! What an amazing experience!”
– Fiona Hamilton, Portland, OR.

“…Our guides were terrific…we felt at all times at ease and secure in their company…We had a great time with Wild Heart, will certainly come again and will definitely recommend you to all our friends.”
– Tamara & Robert Abrams, Truckee, CA.
