Welcome to the Wild Heart Adventure Blog. This is a log book of sorts to share with you all. Here you can find stories of trips gone by, musings, reflections and perhaps a tall tale or two from the sea. We encourage our clients to submit contributions of photos, art and stories. Here we also hope our guides to share their tales of personal trips and adventures beyond our commercial offerings, plus maybe their learning’s and philosophy’s.

Jaime Sharp

Outdoor Guide and Instructor, Writer, Photographer and the new owner of Wild Heart Adventures (as of 2023). Jaime trained as an outdoor instructor and guide in University, and was soon teaching whitewater skills and guiding rafts in the summers. In his early 20’s, a complicated shoulder injury lead him to sea kayaking as a form of rehabilitation. This opened his eyes to a new form of paddling and lead to a change in profession. Jaime has worked as a sea kayak guide and instructor all over the world for more than 12 years, having also lead personal sea kayak expeditions in remote locations - most notably the first Circumnavigation of Svalbard Archipelago Norway by Sea kayak in 2015 with Tara Mulvany and PG Porsanger. Jaime now brings his enthusiasm of kayaking and love of expeditions to leading the future of Wild Heart Adventures.
